Universitas Brawijaya IPR Policy
In accordance with university policy, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) generated within the UB environment are jointly owned by the researcher/innovator and the university. Here are the main principles:
- Researchers/innovators differ the right to be recognized as creators/inventors.
- Economic rights are shared between researchers (60%) and the university (40%).
- The university is responsible for IPR registration and maintenance costs.
- IPR commercialization is conducted through the UB Innovation Center as the university representative.
